Engineering capacity for agencies. Your client stays yours.
You won the project. Now you need the engineers. CodeBase builds and ships under your brand — your name on the work, your relationship with the client, our team behind it.
Nearshore in Belgrade. A full working day of overlap with the UK and Western Europe.
Sound familiar?
- You pitched and won. The build starts in three weeks. You don’t have the team.
- Your one back-end developer just handed in notice, mid-project.
- A client wants Sitecore, or Adobe Experience Manager, or Commerce Cloud — and you don’t do that in-house.
- You need six weeks of React. Not a permanent hire.
- The work is feast or famine, and you’re carrying salaried capacity through the famine.
None of these are reasons to turn work away.
Who this is for
Digital & branding agencies
Great creative, no engineering bench.
Web studios
Clients who have outgrown their platform.
Product studios
More signed work than capacity this quarter.
Platform-specific briefs
Sitecore, AEM or Commerce Cloud, outside your team’s range.
How it works
- Intro call. Thirty minutes. You describe the work and the deadline. We tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit.
- Paperwork. Including a mutual NDA if you want one in place before you share client details.
- Scoped brief. We write back what we understood, with our assumptions listed, and you correct it before anyone writes code.
- Team assigned. Named engineers, a named project manager, one point of contact.
- You see everything as it is built. Staging you can reach, regular demos, work tracked in the tools you already run.
- Delivery under your brand. No CodeBase marks in what we hand over, and a documented handoff.
How we work with you
We will not approach your client. Not during the engagement, and not for 12 months after it ends. Within that period we will not solicit, market to, or accept direct work from a client you introduce us to. We put this in writing in our agreement with you, so it is a term you can hold us to rather than a good intention.
We stay behind the scenes. What we hand over carries your branding, not ours. If one of our engineers joins a client call, they join as part of your team — or not at all. That is your call, every time.
We work in your tools. Jira, Linear, Slack, Notion, ClickUp, your repository, your board, your rituals. You keep one point of contact on our side.
You keep the client relationship. We are not looking to sit between you and the people who hired you.

Timezone
We work from Belgrade, on Central European Time, 10:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday. That is the same working day as London, Dublin, Amsterdam, Berlin and the Nordics — a real overlap, not an overnight handoff.
How engagements work
Your own nearshore team
We handle recruiting, legal, payroll, HR, office space and equipment. You keep the final interview and the hiring decision.
On-demand managed team
Staff augmentation when you need specific skills for a defined stretch of work.
Full-cycle product development
An end-to-end team, from discovery through launch and maintenance.
Our services are billed monthly, covering engineer salaries plus a fixed-rate fee for infrastructure and HR. You can see what you are paying for.
What we don’t do
- We don’t take on work we can’t staff properly. If we’re the wrong fit, we’ll say so on the call.
- We don’t do design or brand work. That stays with you.
- We don’t replace your project manager. You keep the client relationship and the approvals.
- We’re not a freelancer marketplace. Our engineers are employed in-house in Belgrade, in our own offices.
Questions agencies ask
Only if you tell them. What we hand over carries your branding.
No. We will not solicit, market to, or accept direct work from a client you introduce us to — during the engagement, and for 12 months after it ends. That is a term of our agreement with you.
Central European Time, working 10:00–18:00 Monday to Friday.
Yes, introduced as part of your team — or never. Your call.
Yes. We adapt to your stack and your process, not the other way round.
Yes. One scoped piece of work. You will learn more from something delivered than from a sales call.
Tell us what you’ve sold, and when it ships
A thirty-minute call with an engineer, not a salesperson. If we’re not right for the work, we’ll say so and try to point you somewhere better.
